Wood & Slumber Premium Small Flake Shavings
Regular price £9.99/
Be the first to leave a review
Wood & Slumber Premium Small Flake Shavings provide a soft, absorbent bedding surface for horses. Manufactured by Arbor Forest Products, the small flakes spread evenly to create a comfortable, supportive bed.
The shavings are kiln dried to reduce moisture and improve absorbency, then dust extracted to minimise airborne particles. This helps keep the bedding dry and comfortable while reducing moisture build-up.
Made from responsibly sourced timber from Northern European forests, including Scandinavia and the Baltic states, the shavings make use of a by-product of timber processing and help reduce waste.
Suitable for home and livery stables, riding schools and equestrian facilities, competition and racing yards, equine veterinary facilities, and transport or temporary accommodation.
Small flake wood shavings. Kiln dried. Dust extracted. Soft and highly absorbent. Designed for even coverage and distribution.

Snowflake Giant Flake = Bale
Regular price £8.99/
Be the first to leave a review
Snowflake Giant Flake is a large flake horse bedding made from premium kiln dried softwood timber. Introduced to the Snowflake range in 2026, it uses the same type of timber as Snowflake Supreme, with a larger, more substantial flake.
The softwood shavings create a naturally warm, soft and comfortable bed with a fresh wood scent. Their absorbency draws moisture away from the surface, helping the top of the bed stay dry so your horse remains comfortable, clean and dry.
Supplied as one bale. Collection from the store only.

Snowflake soft chip bedding
Regular price £7.75 Sale price £6.99 Save 10%/
(2)
Snowfake Softchip is a popular alternative to traditional wood shavings. Manufactured from premium softwood to the same exacting standards as other products in the Snowflake range, Softchip has several advantages:
Dust extracted for a healthy respiratory system.
Minimising dust levels within the stable environment is essential to help your horse maintain peak health and fitness.
Free draining and highly absorbent.
Allows wet to drain away freely to the bottom layer, ensuring that the surface of the bed remains dry.
Quick and easy to maintain. Droppings are easily removed little waste whilst the underlying wet patches are quickly removed by fork.
A naturally warm, soft and comfortable product with a pine fresh odour.
The bedding improves stability under foot and offers very little movement.
Doesn't cling to manes, tails or rugs. The bedding stays in the stable and not on your horse! Reduces grooming time and saves on waste.
Environmentally friendly natural wood fibre.
Sourced from sustainable resources in the UK, the bedding makes excellent compost after use.
Snowflake Softchip is the perfect bedding choice that enables you to spend less time mucking out or grooming and allow for more quality time with your horse, whether riding for pleasure or competing at the highest level.
How to use Snowflake Softchip
Used correctly, Softchip is very quick and easy to work with being suitable for daily full muck out or a deep litter system. Very little waste is taken out from the stable each day which means a smaller muck heap too. Softchip doesn't tend to blow about whilst mucking out which makes for a tidier yard too.
Start with a clean empty stable
Initially six to eight bales are required for a 12ft x 12ft stable depending on the depth of bed required on rubber matting. Additional bales will be needed if rubber stable mats are not used.
Open a bale at a time and with a shavings fork, spread the Softchip evenly on the stable floor to the required depth.
Use additional bales to build banks against the stable walls if required. These not only help prevent horses from becoming cast when rolling but also guard against draughts.
Removing the droppings with a shavings fork or by hand with rubber gloves.
Scrape the clean top layer of Softchip to the sides to reveal any wet patches. Rmove these with a fork or a shovel and sweep the floor clean.
Remake th bed by scraping the bedding back from the sides. Level and tidy the banks. If time allows, leave the bedding up to allow the floor to dry and then re-lay the bed.
If you prefer, you can use Softchip as a deep litter bedding, we recommend a bed thickness of approx 6 inches to allow any wet to drain to the bottom, ensuring that the top remains dry.
One to two bales per week on average will be needed to maintain your horses' bed depending on which system you choose.

Sorbeo wood Pellets 18kg
Regular price £8.55/
(1)
Sorbeo Horse Bedding is a revolutionary, eco-friendly option made from recycled materials. It is highly absorbent, virtually dust-free, and easy to maintain, making it the preferred choice of many equestrians.
Our bedding is also free from chemicals and additives, ensuring the health and well-being of your horses.
Why Use Horse Bedding
- Provides a soft and comfortable surface for horses to rest
- High absorbency rate, effectively absorbing moisture and odours
- Promotes stable hygiene
- Low dust content, minimising airborne irritants
- Requires minimal maintenance
- Enhances the living space comfort for horses
- Ideal for horses with respiratory issues, reducing allergy risks and related conditions
How To Use
It is simple and hassle-free. Start by spreading a generous layer (approximately 4-6 inches) in the stall, creating a comfortable cushion for your horse. The bedding should be kept slightly damp for optimal absorption.
When cleaning out the stall, simply remove any solid waste and shake the bedding to fluff it up. This will also help distribute any accumulated moisture evenly throughout the bedding. For best results, we recommend a complete stall clean-out every 7-10 days.
Sustainability
We are committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. That’s why our horse bedding is made from 100% recycled and biodegradable materials. This not only benefits the environment but also ensures that our bedding is safe for horses to use.
In addition, our bedding requires less frequent changes compared to traditional options, reducing the amount of waste produced. So not only are you providing a comfortable and healthy living space for your horses, but you’re also making an eco-friendly choice.

Snowflake Pellet Yellow Bags 30lt
Regular price £7.99 Sale price £7.65 Save 4%/
No reviews
Snowflake Premium equine wood pellets are made from UK sourced 100% virgin softwood. The wood is compressed to form a pellet using only lignin which is naturally found in the wood to bind them.
Wood pellets make a lovely, warm fluffy bed that is very absorbent, being able to soak up to 3 times their volume in water, locking in odours too. The pellets are fully biodegradable and rot down quickly on the muck heap into a rich compost.
The clean, green, economical and easy to use alternative to traditional wood based equestrian bedding.
