Baileys Stud Balancer is scientifically formulated to provide nutritional support for all types of breeding & youngstock as well as performances horses at rest or in work. Minimal starch & calorie levels make it ideal to be fed alongside forage for good doers or can be fed alongside other compound feeds where additional energy for performance is required. Because Stud Balancer is so nutrient dense only small amounts need to be fed, this is essential for reducing excessive glycaemic response & avoiding starch overload. Fibre digesting bacteria & prebiotics work together to maintain a healthy digestive environment in the hindgut, helping horses get more out of their food.

Baileys Fibre Plus Nuggets are chunky high fibre cubes designed to be fed as a partial forage replacer for horses & ponies in rest or work. Their low starch & low energy formulation results in the cubes being super crunchy & high in fibre, this gives the horses plenty of time to chew & helps even out digestive issues. Fibre Plus Nuggets have not been supplemented with vitamins or minerals so are best fed alongside additional forage or balancers.

The Baileys Senior Soft & Lite 20kg is a specialised feed formulated for older horses and ponies, particularly those who are easy keepers or have dental challenges. This low-starch, reduced-calorie blend (starch 8%, sugar 3%) is gentle on the digestive system, making it suitable for horses with PPID (Cushing’s) or those prone to laminitis (unless overweight).

This feed contains a high-fibre mix, including Prealpine meadow grasses and highly digestible superfibres, designed to supply slow-release calories. This variety of fibres also supports a balanced gut microbiome, promoting digestive health and encouraging microbial diversity.

Senior Soft & Lite is fortified with proteins essential for muscle maintenance and tissue repair, addressing the age-related loss of muscle tone and top line. It also includes essential vitamins and minerals, as well as micronised linseed and soya oil, to support a shiny coat and overall wellbeing.

With a triple digestive support system—FOS and MOS prebiotics, live probiotic yeast, and postbiotics—the feed helps maintain gut health, immunity, and a balanced gut-brain connection. Sustainably sourced nettle, rich in antioxidants and key nutrients, is added to assist the body in managing stress and inflammation.

To accommodate horses with dental issues, Senior Soft & Lite can be fed as a dry mix for those with full dentition or soaked to a soft mash in just 10 minutes, ideal for those needing a softer feed. Enhanced with essential oil extracts for taste, even picky eaters will find this feed appealing.
