QHP Full Cheek Bit Anatomcall Double Jointed Sweet

£32.99

A full cheek bit with an anatomically shaped mouthpiece that ensures even pressure distribution in the horse’s mouth. The side bars keep the bit stable and provide support when steering. The sweet iron mouthpiece stimulates saliva production and improves acceptance of the bit. Ideal for young, strong, or sensitive horses.

Mouthpiece material: stainless steel
Cheekpiece material: stainless steel
Sweet iron material: iron, steel
Mouthpiece thickness: 14 mm
An anatomically shaped full cheek bit
The anatomical shape ensures better pressure distribution in the horse’s mouth
When in contact with moisture, sweet iron develops surface rust that tastes sweet and stimulates saliva production and acceptance of the bit
Due to this rusting process, the blue color of the bit changes to silver/brown
The bit is ideal for young, strong, or sensitive horses
The cheekpieces apply light pressure to the horse’s cheeks, contributing to a more stable position in the mouth
The ends of the shafts are slightly curved outward to prevent them from digging into the horse’s head
The shanks of the full cheek bit are 14 cm long for bit sizes 9.5 to 11.5 and 16 cm long for bit sizes 12.5 to 14.5
Double jointed:
The double jointed bit has two joints and adapts more easily to the horse’s mouth. This bit sits more comfortably in the mouth and applies pressure to the tongue, cheeks, and corners of the mouth

QHP Eggbutt Bit Flexi White

£28.99

The Flexi bits feature a synthetic mouthpiece, making them suitable for horses with a sensitive mouth. The straight, unjointed design applies pressure mainly to the tongue, offering a gentle effect and refined communication between horse and rider. Each bit has a metal core and stainless steel rings.

This bit is available in two models:

Loose ring bit Flexi
The loose rings allow the bit to move freely in the horse’s mouth, which makes it easy for most horses to accept. The movement helps distribute the rider’s rein aids more evenly.

Eggbutt bit Flexi
The fixed rings provide more stability and direct contact in the horse’s mouth. This makes the eggbutt snaffle a good option for young horses or horses with a sensitive mouth.

Material: thermoplastic polyurethane
Flexi bits
The synthetic mouthpiece of the flexi bit is very suitable for sensitive horses
The unbroken bit provides pressure mainly on the tongue
This provides a gentle impact and refined communication between horse and rider
The bit has a metal core and stainless steel rings.
This bit is available in different models
Bit thickness for sizes 9.5 to 10.5: tapers from 14 mm at the sides to 10 mm in the centre
Bit thickness for sizes 11.5 to 14.5: tapers from 18 mm at the sides to 12.5 mm in the centre
