A lunging whip is a lunging aid to be used to communicate with the horse more effectively for lunging exercises. You can use it to encourage the horse to go forward, to indicate to the horse to stop, slow down or change direction on the lunge. Lunge whips are usually used in conjunction with a lunging line, a bridle or headcollar with a cavesson noseband, auxiliary reins and a lunging girth. Lunging exercises can be used to greatly benefit the horses muscle growth and fitness.
