LeMieux Vector Balance Stirrups Black

The LeMieux Brilliance Vector Balance Stirrups in Black combine a lightweight, technically advanced design with black Swarovski crystal detailing on the stirrup arms.

Design and support

Machined from aviation-grade aluminium, each stirrup weighs 419g. The ergonomic footplate is angled at 5° and has a cross-track grip surface with embedded hardened steel pins to support lower-leg stability and a heels-down position.

A twin-balance arch distributes weight across the base of the frame. The recessed, offset apex encourages a 45° outward position, helping the rider find a comfortable foot angle and regain a lost stirrup.

Release mechanism

The integrated hinged arm uses a two-stage release system. Its spring-loaded arm locks into the base of the frame, helping spread the rider's weight evenly under pressure, including when landing over a fence, without the outer side dropping or flexing.

Lateral pressure can open the arm to let the foot leave the stirrup, helping reduce the risk of dragging. LeMieux reports a tested breakout force of 36N.

Important safety and fit information

No stirrup with a quick-release arm is guaranteed to open in every fall. A horse falling, a loose girth allowing the saddle to slip, or a slow or unusual exit angle may not produce enough lateral force to release the arm. No stirrup is completely foolproof.

Choose a stirrup that fits your riding boots, allowing at least 10mm of clearance on each side of the widest part of the foot.

LeMieux lists these stirrups as competition legal for FEI, British Dressage, British Eventing and British Showjumping.
